This academic year the Italian Schools of Dante Alighieri Society hosted 4 students that joined Italiano in Tour Program. Do you remember what Italiano in Tour is? Italiano in Tour is a study-tour that allows students to study Italian language in two or more Italian Schools of Dante Alighieri Society. Who are our students and where have they studied?
The first student was a German girl. She arrived in April and she started her tour in Milan for a week. Then she spent the next three weeks in Florence and the last one in Rome.
At the end of May two students from Argentine came. They spent the first week in Florence and the last one in Milan.
At the beginning of June a Colombian student arrived. He spent a week in Turin, one in Florence and the last one in Rome.
The particularity of Italiano in Tour
Students, in addition to attending an Italian language classes, tour the cities to visit their landmarks. What’s more? They get a real taste of Italian lifestyle and culture an meet local people.
For instance, the students that joined the program have visited many famous and interesting places: the Accademia della Crusca, Basilica of Santa Croce, Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza del Duomo, Pitti Palace, Cascine Park with its beautiful flea market, Vinci, Leonardo Da Vinci’s hometown, San Maurizio’s Church, The Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio, Dante Alighieri Committee of Milan, Piazza Navona, Campo dei fiori, Via dei Coronari and Chiostro del Bramante. In addition, they also tasted the real Italian food and wine specialties .
